Description

Our apartment is in Grafarvogur, one of Reykjavik's suburbs. It was built in 2004 so it's practically new. It has 3 bedrooms (2 dbl beds and one sgl), a big living/dining room, a big bathroom with a shower and a bathtub, a kitchen with everything!, and a small garden. The apartment is about 100 m2 and is quite spacious.

Neighborhood

It takes about 10 - 15 minutes to get to the city center with a car, (20 - 30 with a bus) and about 5 minutes to escape to the peace and quiet of nature outside of the city!
There is a golfcourse 5 minutes walking distance away and a spectacular view of mountains and cove/small fjord perfect for canoing. It could be the perfect place to base your excursions in Iceland from!

About Us

We are a married couple and have 3 grown children that have all left the house. Our names are Anna and Siggi. Two of our children live in Iceland and one daughter in France. We both speak english, but Anna (the wife) is beginnig to learn french as well to be able to speak with her son-in-law.

Destination

We specificly want to go the island of Corsica, and we are looking for a house that will not only accomodate the two of us, but also 2 more couples. (Anna's brother and sister ans their spouses).
We would prefer to go there either in June, or in September. We fear that the months inbetween might be a little too hot for us... :)
