Description

Our un-cluttered, non-smoking 700 sq ft condo has a large open concept kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave, and washer/dryer, and 2-seater breakfast bar. The living/dining room is bright and sunny with a small 4 chair dining set, a couch with a 32 inch TV, DVD Player, and surround sound. Our condo has 1 roomy bedroom, with lush linens, a corner sun room, and 1 bathroom with a soaker tub and stand up shower. The futon couch in the living room will pull out to sleep 2 extra people if you're bringing children.
Ride up the elevator to the rooftop garden where you will have access to a gym, sauna/steam room, outdoor hot tub and a spectacular view of the Toronto skyline featuring the CN Tower, the CNE and Lake Ontario. Our building has a parking spot should you wish to rent a car and 24-hour front desk concierge/security guards who are extremely helpful and friendly. We do have a small dog, but she is hypoallergenic and does not shed but she will not be in the appartment during your vacation. Our place is small and minimal but open concept and stocked with everything you will need to cook, relax and feel right at home.

Neighborhood

We are located right downtown in the trendy King West Village just steps away to countless ethnic and fine dining restaurants, the theatre district, entertainment district, Chinatown, Little Italy, Kensington Market, Various spas and more. There is a lot to see and do within walking distance including the CN Tower, Roger's Centre (Sky Dome) Air Canada Centre, the Canadian National Exhibition, Roy Thompson Hall, Princess of Whales Theatre, and the Harbourfront Centre. Our building is right on a main street for your convenience, but our condo faces west to a quiet street with trees and parks nearby setting a calm and welcoming atmosphere. The TTC Streetcar stop is right outside the building which will take you into the downtown core in 5 minutes and to the Beaches in 20. Just a couple streets north is a trendy and slightly bohemian-esque neighbourhood called Queen West where you will find local designer clothing stores, hip bars, great but affordable restaurants, contemporary art galleries, book stores and furniture shops. We are happy to recommend places to visit, as we love our diverse neighbourhood and hope you will too!

About Us

My husband and I are a newly married couple living and working in downtown Toronto. I work as a technical analyst for a Canadian financial institution, and my husband is a business analyst for the Health industry of Ontario. I am also a part time latin dance instructor, and we are both food fanatics who love to cook at home as well as eat out. We also love dogs, traveling, reading and watching movies.
We both are fluent in English as we grew up in Canada, but I also speak and understand French as well.
