Description

Our house is a typical old "Arcachonnaise", located on the "Bassin d'Arcachon", in front of the beach, 40' to Bordeaux.
Just one floor, 3 bedrooms, kitchen, with micro waves oven, dishwasher, etc..., dining room, TV LCD and hifi in the living room, 2 bathrooms (showers only), 2 toilets (one in a bathroom), a large terrace and a garden face to the beach.

Neighborhood

It's a very quite and natural place, a splendid view on the sea, with an oyster farmer and a small river 20 m farther.
Sawns, seaguls and other birds... 2 charming little harbors in the village...
You will find all conveniences at the village (Press, bread and cake shop, supermaket, pharmacy, post office, hairdresser, cyber-café etc.) 300 m farther (5' walking)
The wine "chateaux" of Bordeaux (Medoc, Pessac-Leogan) etc.. are located 1 h from home by car

About Us

We are: a girl 13, a boy 15 years old, parents 48 /44 years old(father :Air traffic controller/ Mother: ex stewardess Air France) , a little dog (labrador, 3 months)
You can use a double-seat kayak and wind-surf , bicycles to visit around (many cycle paths among the pines. )
Possibility to fly over the Bassin d'Arcachon in a 4 seats airplane, at the aerodrome 10' from home (Andernos city)

Destination

Exchanges no simultaneaous (not necessarily)
We propose our home in july or august 2008 (summer in France) and would appreciate to go to the exchanger's home in Dec 2007- mars 2008 or July - August 2008.
