Description

Our private, waterfront villa is a second home which we sometimes use as a guesthouse. It is well equipped and has 2 bedrooms, one with a king-sized bed, the other with twin beds. There is a living & dining area with cable TV, a full kitchen, laundry room, BBQ, an outside eating deck which overlooks the water and from which you can feed the tame iguanas. The pool is large and the surrounding deck is a wonderful place to watch the sunset and the pelicans heading for their night nesting grounds.
The grounds are spacious, full of birds and interesting flora. We have a RAV 4 vehicle available for exploring the Island's beaches, volcano observatory, restaurants & shops.

Neighborhood

Montserrat is a small island accessible by a 15-minute flight from Antigua. It is very lush with lots of hiking trails. The local people are extremely friendly and helpful and there is no place on the Island that is not safe for visitors - day or night! We have had an active volcano for more than 12 years and there are several safe places for viewing and photography. The Observatory is staffed by a group of British scientists who are always happy to answer questions. The villa itself is situated on a quiet residential street and has lots of privacy.

About Us

We are a mother & daughter who have lived in Montserrat for more than 20 years. We are free to travel and will be happy to do non-simultaneous exchanges. We have no pets for you to care for (except the iguanas!) but we would be happy to care for your pets &/or plants. We are interested in any travel - especially Puerto Rico and other Caribbean Islands.

Destination

We are interested in anywhere warm but especially Miami or Puerto Rico.
We can do simultaneous or not and like to travel year-round.
