Description

Beautiful townhome in association complexon windward side of Oahu. Includes pool, tennis courts, walking paths, security. 5 min walk to shops and supermarkets. Only 30 minutes to Oahu's best beaches.

My house mate lives in the master bedroom with private bath. He is a member of the State House, is home 3-4 nights a week and seldom uses the kitchen. For guests, available 1 bedroom with 2 twin beds and bathroom.

Views of mountains and Kaneohe Bay from lanai. Cooler side of the island. Experience small town Hawaii with Waikiki only 30 minutes away.

Neighborhood

My townhouse complex offers serenity, safety and beauty. I have wonderful neighbors who are available to help with ideas or directions. Kaneohe town is low key living with restarants offering local foods and casual atmosphere.

We have 2 great shopping malls and 2 movie complexes. Kaneohe is a good launching site for driving around the island, visiting the Polynesian Cultural Center, and to the North Shore. The wonderful Koolau mountains are a back drop to Kaneohe and Kaneohe Bay is in the foreground.

About Us

I am long-time resident of Hawaii who likes to vacation in Nature. My 18 years in Alaska introduced me to the great outdoors. I have worked for many years as an office manager for a landscaping company. My interests are walking, yoga, reading, travel, cooking and jewelry. I am single in my early 60's and in good health with a keen interest in learning about new places. I have a quiet personality.

I like my travels to include walking in Nature, shopping, museums and art galleries, local attractions and historic events, and good food & wine.

Destination

I think Vancouver Island would be a great place. Ease of getting to Vancouver is a consideration. Maybe trip to Grouse Mountain or Whistler. I want to walk 6-10 each day, either in the woods, around the neighborhood or site seeing.

Since I will be traveling alone, I would love walking companions. Maybe neighbors or friends would be available to go with me.

A view from the home is preferred--either of the mountains or water. Not a must.
