Description

We have a large, comfortable country home on one and a half acres, with olive trees, an orchard and extensive gardens.
Two living areas, modern kitchen and four bedrooms are complemented by a large deck, verandahs and a one-bedroom cottage in the garden.
We have a friendly dog and 20 chickens to supply you with fresh free-range eggs.
We have a double garage and large shed with billiard table and table tennis. There is a trampoline and swing for the children.

Neighborhood

We are situated on flat and which is sheltered and sunny and surrounded by farms. However, it is only three minutes from the thriving town of Otaki, which is full of factory shops and five minutes from beautiful west coast beaches.
It takes one hour to travel to central Wellington and 20 minutes to Paraparaumu, a substantial Kapiti Coast town.
Further up our road is the entrance to the Tararua mountains, famous for tramping, hunting and river sports.

About Us

We are a family of five, Tim is a self-employed electrician, Sonja a freelance writer working from home and three children ranging in age from 6 to 12. We enjoy the quieter things in life and love inviting people to our little piece of paradise.
Our social life revolves around our country school, which we are heavily involved with and our church.

Destination

Would prefer a longer period of time for Australia. Weekends fine for New Zealand. School holidays preferred.
