Description

The house is very bright and open, built in 2006, is spacious, airy and tastefully decorated throughout. The house is our second home all year round where our family takes to in weekends and for several months in the summer. Your trip here would not have to be simultaneous to our stay.

The house is well equipped, two bedrooms and close to the house is a Guest house with one bedroom. All three bedrooms are with Queen size beds for 6 persons total. The bathroom in the house has a shower. Main kitchen is modern with all necessary hardware needed for a family. The Guest house has its own toilet and kitchen. Outdoor we have all year round Jacuzzi with temperature up to around 40° Celsius. We have television, Icelandic channels only and Wireless (secure) high-speed internet.

Neighborhood

Driving from Keflavik Airport, Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland, is passed. We are located in a very nice area 90km drive from airport close to the town Selfoss. Close to mountain Ingolfsfjall and Burfell as well as the river Sogid. Sogid is famous for salmon fishing. The area is an older summerhouse area built on a lava field. A half hour drive is to Thingvellir. One hour drive to Gullfoss and Geysir. Only 10 minutes drive to Kerid. More info on www.ferdalag.is South Iceland

About Us

We are aged of 46 and 49 a booker and an engineer. We love to explore new countries and areas and would very much like to exchange our house with people that want to explore ICELAND.
