Description

One Half of a Double residence (we own both sides). One bedroom with double bed. There is also a sleeper sofa that can sllep two more people. One bathroom with shower and tub. Full kitchen. Backyard patio with bon fire. Screened gazabo. BBQ.
Our house is located on the edge of the Longfellow neighborhood in Minneapolis. We are just east of the Mississippi River. The Green Way bike trail is right our side our door at the park next door. The bike trails take you downtown, along the river, to the University area, and also to the Uptown area. We are a short walk (or bus ride) to the light rail station which will take you downtown or to the airport or the Mall of America. A good selection of resturants, pubs, and grocery within walking distance. We have two cats. Very friendly and spend most of their time on the other side. We are well traveled and would be interested in hospitality exchange as well. Interested in European swaps or hosting.

Neighborhood

Our neighborhood is fairly quiet. A block and 1/2 from Lake Street (a major road). The park is right next door and the river is just a couple of blocks away. Very close to downtown. Great live music clubs in downtown Minneapolis. Easy to get around. Especially by Bike.

About Us

I am a photographer and my husband (Keith) is a proletarian. We enjoy traveling overseas and meeting new people and visiting our friends. I speak some German and Keith speaks some French. We like music, biking, roadtrips, the Simpsons, Coen Brothers movies.

Destination

We are open to a non-simultaneous exchange and our dates are completely flexible. Open to most cities and most countries in Europe.
