Description

Our home is situated on the McCall Golf Course and has 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. The Master Bedroom suite is on the 2nd floor and has a king sized bed and private viewing deck facing the golf course, the master bath has a double sink, a jacuzzi tub and shower and a spacious closet and small (local channels only) TV. The 2nd floor guest bedroom has a queen size bed and its own full bath. The first floor has an open kitchen, dining and living room with high ceilings, and satellite TV. The large back deck is particularly inviting and we often enjoy all our meals outside. There is a gas grill and plenty of seating. There is also a garage and a small utility room with washer and dryer. A separate small fenced area is adjacent to the utility room and has its own small hot tub. Also, on the first floor there is an additonal bedroom with a full size bed. The bath is down the hall for this bedroom. Since most of the house is wall to wall light carpeting, we can only invite the best behaved pet into our home.

Neighborhood

McCall Idaho is known for its mild summers and Indian summers as well as the spectacular snowy winter season. Lake Payette is pristine and great for boating, fishing and kayaking. White Water rafting is nearby and easily accessible. There are several golf courses to choose from within McCall and even more nearby. Winter Ice Carnival attracts national attention and winter activities include skiing, snowmobiling and year round ice skating at the ice rink in town. McCall boasts a farmers market, local live theatre, outdoor concerts under the stars very nearby and also nearby great natural hot springs.

About Us

We are a retired professional couple with two grown children, one now married and expecting her first baby. Art is an avid golfer and I am an equestrien with a love of the outdoors.

Destination

We are a retired couple with a lovely 3 bedroom/3 bath vacation home in the beautiful mountains of McCall, Idaho, 100 miles north of Boise. Our house is on the golf course with a fabulous view of the course and Ponderosa Pine woods. A private hot tub and a large deck are perfect for entertaining. Since it is a vacation home, we can be flexible on dates for exchanges. While McCall can be considered a four season resort area, most popular are the beautiful mild summers, indian summers, and a great ski season. Lake Payette is a few minutes from home where fishing, boating and kayaking are very popular. Also popular is the Winter Ice Carnival where the ice sculpture competition is always fierce. McCall is a very special town with great golf, outdoor concerts, farmers markets, local live theatre, nearby hot springs, to mention just a few activities. We are expecting our first grandchild in San Diego in early April and wish to be very nearby to help with the baby.
