Description

Lovingly restored older home with two bedrooms, two baths, an office and a study, a large, well-equipped kitchen and a serene private garden. The living room is large with high ceilings, a large eclectic library and a stereo system with a large music library. The study has a piano and a television/dvd player.

Neighborhood

We live in a quiet neighborhood of a small town in the heart of Northern California's wine country. Our home is within a 5 minute walk from theaters, markets, galleries and excellent restaurants. Sebastopol is noted for being one of the greenest cities in America and has a vibrant arts community.

We are one hour from San Francisco, 20 minutes from the spectacular coastline of the Pacific Ocean, 4 hours from Lake Tahoe or Yosemite National Park.

Our neighborhood borders the walking trails of the Laguna de Santa Rosa, one of California's most diverse biotic resource areas. We are a few minutes walk from theaters (both cinema and live), shopping and parks.

If you are interested in getting to know members of our community, we can introduce you to people who may share your interests or simply friends in the neighborhood.

About Us

Larry is a 60 year old retired psychotherapist who serves on the Sebastopol City Council. He has served two terms as Mayor. He is a student of Zen Buddhism and writes poetry. He plays guitar and tends our garden.

Cynthia is a 55 year old retired schoolteacher. She knits and studies taiko drumming.

Destination

We are flying into and out of Florence on April 15 and May 5 of 2008, respectively. We will be traveling with two friends and would prefer somewhere in Umbria or Tuscany.
