Description


The cottage is an independent, two-bedroom house with shared use of a sun terrace.

Both the double bedrooms have wood floors, exposed beam ceilings, beautiful views of the Piave valley and 11th century Basilica di San Vittore e Corona.

There is a large, modern bathroom with shower, basin, bidet and toilet.

The country kitchen has a rustic look but comes fully fitted with modern appliances, including a dishwasher.

The living area is part of the large kitchen space. There is also TV / DVD & wireless internet access.

In addition to the rest of the gardens and land there is a deck which is perfect for use by the cottage.

Neighborhood

The house is located in rural and quiet settings on the edge of woodland but conveniently situated between Venice (just over 1 hour by car) and the National Park of the Dolomites, near the medieval town of Feltre (Belluno Province, Veneto).

The town centre is just 2.5km away with lots of nice shops, restaurants, cafes, an ice-rink open all year, covered swimming pool, tennis courts etc, there is also a market twice a week.

Other cities that are easily reach by train or car include Verona, Treviso, Padova and the famous Cortina d'Ampezzo.

This region of Italy is also famous for its' National Park of the Dolomites, the beautiful mountain sceneries, the 40km of coast, the local wines like Prosecco and its regional dish polenta.

About Us

We are a young and dinamic Anglo-Italian couple and run a B&B from the property next door and have lived in Italy for the last 5 years. We have a 5 month old little girl.

Through our work we have good local knowledge to pass on to any swappers!
Because our place is near the mountains we are looking to swap with someone for a place near the sea/ocean.

Destination

We would like to do a non-simultaneous exchange - whereby we travel over the European winter and provide exclusive, private use of the cottage from next March-May.

We were hoping for somewhere warm!
