Description

I have a spacious studio in a beautiful old 1930's building, located in the lower 'Queen Anne' neighborhood of Seattle. My first floor corner unit condo has new wood floors, wifi (as well as cable internet hookups), beautiful natural light and old world charm. I have a large flat screen television and surround sound DVD/CD player. The kitchen has all the basic amenities, including a microwave, but the refridgerator is small. The condo is set up with an entryway, a small office area outside the bathroom, and a very large 'great room' - the bed is at one end, against the wall behind screens and feels like a seperate room. There is also a small dinette area outside the kitchen. There are laundry faciliites onsite, a few doors down from my unit (but not in my unit.) The building is quiet and my neighbors are delightful.

Neighborhood

My condo is less than 5 minutes walking distance from the Seattle Center, which is home to (among other things), the Space Needle, five theatres, the opera, the ballet and Key Arena (where the Sonics play). Downtown Seattle is a quick trip on the monorail (taken from the Seattle Center), a very short bus ride from the bus stop that is one block away, or a twenty minute walk from my front door. I am located at the end of a very quite dead end street, next to a park with a tennis court. It is a perfect hideaway right in the middle of the city.

About Us

I am an actress (primarily in theatre) who does marketing research online for my 'day job'. This gives me flexibility in travel, because I can work from anywhere in the world, so long as I have an internet connection. I love to travel, but have been in a rigorous cycle of work and performance for the last two or three years, and I'm ready to try something new. Ideally, I'd love to go somewhere (anywhere outside of the US) for a few months. My timeline is flexible - although ideally, I'm looking for something starting next spring/summer. I'd like to take a work-vacation, and really get to know a new part of the world.

Destination

My dates are very flexible - I'm looking for an adventure, and am happy to consider most any country, for any reasonable length of time. I have a car and am happy to do a car exchange. I have a cat, but unless you are a cat lover, I would probably ask a friend or family member to take care of her while I'm gone.
