Nice family home. Master bedroom has queen size bed and ensuite. There is a shower in the powder room on the main floor. The main three piece bath is next to the master bedroom. Second bedroom has queen size bed. Third bedroom has a single. Large living room with wood burning fireplace and a piano on which may play your heart out. Dinning room seats 8. Kitchen has new stainless steel appliances and a small table that seats 4. Family room has new HD LCD 40 inch TV with CD and Video player. The sofa converts to a double bed for guests. New washer and dryer in laundry room. Large flower & shrub garden. Will arrange to have the lawn cut if you prefer.

Neighborhood

Quiet neighbourhood in the "Lower Fraser Valley". Easy 50 min drive to Vancouver via #1 highway. 5 minutes to Washington USA border. Easy to get around. Public transportation is sporatic and a car is neccessary so I will leave you mine (2003 Honda Accord) 5 seatbelts, seatbelts required by law, if you leave me yours. Forget the big city rush hour lots of shopping 20 min away. This is a farming community and local farmers markets and road side vegetable and fruit stands are everywhere. No need of large grocery stores except for staples. Aldergrove is the raspberry capital of Canada. Lots of parks, the Pacific ocean is 20 min away, lots of bike trails and the wonderful wine district of the "Okanagan Valley and Lakes is a magnificent drive through the mountains. Lots of skiing near and far. So-o-o much to see and do. You will never be bored.

About Us

I am a recently retired and divorced woman with two daughters. The youngest daughter will be teaching in St Paul les Dax for the 07/08 school year and she has invited me to share a house. How can I refuse an offer which would allow me to learn to speak french, take a french cooking class, and explore France and have a companion as well. Too good to be true.

Destination

Would prefre a home or 2 bedroom apartment at or near St Paul les Dax for the 07/08 school year or part. From 1 month to 1 year. Very flexible. Must be home Dec 25/07 to Jan 5th/08.
