Description of our house:
"Mimosa" is a fully equipped open plan apartment with large sitting room, kitchenette, and bedroom with en suite toilet shower room plus a washing machine. In all it is 60 sq meters and is ideal for two persons, couple with 2 children or 3 adults and one child maximum. The inside has a natural insulation which provides a cool space in summer.

Neighborhood

Enjoy this lovely atmosphere on one of the greenest islands in the Aegean! Mimosa Apartment sits on nearly two acres of olive grove covered land and is tastefully decorated in a traditional Skopelitian island style. We are in a quiet, elevated location, set back off the road where the view is stunning. The apartment has a wonderfully large outdoor patio and barbecue area with dining table and sun chairs for keeping up your holiday tan. Set amongst the olive groves, just 2klm from the picturesque town of Skopelos and two of the islands best beaches its location is superb.

About Us

Your hosts at Mimosa apartment are Yiannis, a Skopelitian whose family has lived and worked on the island for generations and his American wife Anna, who will provide you a unique prospective of the island they love and cherish. Yiannis is a builder and I am a travel agent on the island and have been living here for 15 years. Our son, 10 years old, enjoys not only his Greek, but also American roots and loves to travel already! We have never tried home exchange but would love to share our beautiful island and traditional apartment with you and we will take special care of your exchanged property in any of our preferred destinations or your surpise destination!

Destination

I am looking for somewhere in the south such as Savannah, Charleston, Hilton Head Island - anywhere with lovely southern charm and close to some city for theatre, concerts, cinema and restaurants. I will be travelling with another American friend from California as a reunion.
