Description

Comfortable zen/country house with access to a lovely lake and skiing nearby (5 minutes by car). Lovely wood floor, lake stone fireplace, excellent DVD collection and large deck on two sides of the house. We are in "cottage country" near Saint-Sauveur (>10 km) which has tons of restaurants, major food stores and lots of shopping. Saint-Sauveur has the largest night-lit skiing area in the world and we ski there all the time. The internationally reknown Mont-Tremblant ski centre is 30 minutes north. Montreal, a vibrant and cosmopolitan city, is 30 minutes south. Most people are here are bilingual (French and English).

Neighborhood

10 second walk brings you to lake for swimming. 5 minute drive to ski and lots of shops and restaurants. There are lovely trails all over (some as near as the end of our road!). The area is quiet and yet you are only a few minutes drive from the highway from Montreal. Fall is stunning with the colour of the leaves (best at end of September).

About Us

We are a professional couple married for 18 years who enjoy travel, mountain biking, walking tours, kayaking, kite surfing and windsurfing. We speak French and English fluently.

We are pretty flexible though we need to know well in advance to organise ourselves workwise!
