Description

Our 9 year old 2200 sq.ft. home is a tropical paradise. We are very centrally located (about 40 miles to Disneyland, 40 miles to mountains, 50 miles to beach, 90 miles to Mexico). With 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, it comfortably sleeps 7. There is a palm tree theme throughout the house, with multi-colored slate floors downstairs (except the 1 bedroom, which is carpeted) and carpeting upstairs (both bathrooms have the slate floors).We have a HD Big-screen TV in the family room, and TV's in every bedroom. All TV's have cable, except the downstairs bedroom. Gas fireplace, microwave, dishwasher, indoor laundry room, home alarm system. Quarter acre property with plenty of privacy. Great swimming pool w/slide and built-in jacuzzi. Nice decking w/resin lounge chairs & picnic table. Outside music, BBQ and lighting. Firepit on 2nd level.Top level of backyard is nice, we are working on the other 2 levels. We have all the modern conveniences.

Neighborhood

Sunrises are absolutely incredible here, particularly from the master bedroom window. Night time offers a nice view of the lights. We live in an upscale neighborhood with plenty of shopping and a movie theatre near by. We are close to 2 major freeways. Our home is located at the end of a cul-de-sac, hence the large lot size.

About Us

We are a family of 5. I am 45 years old and work as a meeting planner for Arrowhead Credit Union. My husband is 41 and works as an operating engineer for Local 12 Union. We have an 11 year old daughter and a 13 year old son together. I also have an 18 year old son from a previous marriage (he will not be going with us on holiday). We enjoy rock music, snow skiing (the boys snowboard & skateboard), our pool area, and traveling.

Destination

We have successfully negotiated an exchange in London for May 2007. Now we are looking for a simultaneous 1 week exchange of homes in a different European country for 2008. We prefer Amsterdam, Prague, Copenhagen, Austria, but we are open to other English speaking destinations. We have 2 cats (one is indoors, the other goes in and out) and 2 fire-belly frogs (very small). We also have 2 large pot-belly pigs that live in the lower area of the back yard. We would have someone come over to feed/water them. They are so quiet, that our neighbors don't even believe we have them until we take them down the stairs for a look!
