Description

We have a 3 storey Victorian townhouse, light and spacious with large family room and kitchen with gas fired aga and big table to seat 10+. Four bedrooms - 3 of the bedrooms have double beds. Comfortable accommodation with everything you need, ideal as a base for touring or exploring Bristol or for friends to share for a longer time to find work. There is a piano, garden, study area x2 with internet connection, WC, sitting room with television and oak flooring throughout. Ground/1st floor includes two bedrooms (to sleep 3), bathroom with shower, bath, WC, washing machine, and tumble dryer. Top floor includes two large bedrooms, both with double beds. Central heating throughout. Mostly wooden floors. Not suitable for disabled.

Neighborhood

This is a lively neighbourhood with culturally diverse influences. Locally there are excellent shops and markets. The streets are mostly Victorian terraced houses with a buzzing high street. People are very friendly here and mostly walk everywhere. A ten minute walk brings you to all major shopping and there is also the harbour, theatres, restaurants and night clubs.
Taxi's or cabs are cheap and trustworthy, buses run from the end of the road. The main railway station is ten minutes by car and airport just 20 mins (by car or bus). Bus goes to and from Heathrow from bus station in the centre of town. For children there are parks, an adventure playground, Easton swimming pool with flume, and many holiday activities just 5 mins walk away as well as the other tourist attractions.

About Us

We are a professional family, (computer engineers, musician). We enjoy many different genre of music, art, and literature and also eating out, swimming, and socialising.

Destination

Open to most European countries, but especially Paris or other French city for weekend break or a longer exchange. Also will consider 2+ month exchange in some European Capitals.
Non-simultaneous exchange can be considered.
All dates are flexible.
Coastal areas are welcome in the summer months, in particular those near surfing beaches in Cornwall, UK or Biarritz etc.
Keen to explore all European cities, eg Prague, Budapest, Cracow, Barcelona etc.
