Description

4-bedroomed home built just 3 years ago, all modern. 4 spacious bedrooms (1 serves as a study with internet access). 2 rooms double bed, 1 room bunk beds. Also 1 cot and 1 X double futon, 2 X single futon available to add into bedrooms.
Heated toilet/bidet up and downstairs, shower and jacuzzi-bath with TV/radio. Washing machine, laundry-balony or dryer.
Modern kitchen including IH cooker, microwave, dishwasher. Beautiful, traditional Japanese tatami-mat room with paper-screens downstairs.
Air-condioners/fans/heaters. TV, CD, DVD, video players. Plenty of kids toys including bicyles.
Small garden with BBQ, and quiet street for kids to play in (park nearby). Car not available but not necessary. 4 bicycles, 2 with child seats (3 children in total) plus helmets.

Neighborhood

Our house is in a quiet, safe and much sought-after neighbourhood with excellent access to bus, trains, trams. With city views but set near the bottom of a lush, green mountain it is truly an ideal location.
5 minutes walk from local shops and bus-stop to city centre (10-15 min bus ride, or just 15-20 mins by bicycle). 24hr supermarket 5 mins by bicycle.
Big sports centre 15 minute walk featuring 50m swimming pool or ice-rink in winter. Kids park, peaceful rose-garden, river-side walking/jogging all nearby.
Hiroshima is infamously known as the first location to suffer a nuclear attack. It is now known as an International City of Peace, shoppers' paradise, home to exciting restaurants and night-life with museums, art galleries parks, mountains and sea. Beautiful temples, castle, and loads of kids' activites too.

About Us

We are a family of 5 (3 children), speaking English and Japanese. University Professor and teacher/mother.

Destination

I can usually take a longer holiday with the chidren than my husband. You may have our house to yourselves while we are all away at your place (10-16 days) or for even longer if you don't mind sharing with him for a few days either end of your trip (the kids and I would be travelling on elsewhere). Infact, he could be of help in settling you in.
