Description

We live in Whistler, Nth Americas #1 Ski resort and Largely popular Summer resort. The town offers all there is in resort attractions, from skiing, dog sledding, snowmobiling, in the winter to hiking, fishing, golf, mountain biking, wildlife, ATVing, rafting & swimming in the summer. Zip treking & climbing walls all year round.
There is also an abundance of spas, restaurants, shops and speciality coffee shops all in walking distance of each other.
Our home in a short 10 min drive or 15 min bus ride to the village centre. It is an old ski chalet made of large cedar beams and vaulted ceilings. A large wood fireplace heats the home in the Winter, and the open concept dinning room / lounge makes it perfect for families.
In the summer months our grassy backyard and deck make the perfect spot to enjoy the afternoon sun whilst reading a book or just catching some rays.
Then when the sun goes down our backyard fireplace is the ideal spot to keep warm and gaze up at the dark star filled sky.
Being only 2 hrs from Vancouver, you can always get on a tour bus or take a short drive down the Sea to Sky Hwy and shop or sight see for the day.
We are also excited to be named host for the upcoming 2010 Winter Olympics.

Neighborhood

We are surounded by large old growth trees and have many lakes, walking trails and mountain biking trails all in our backyard.
The silence some nights is astounding and the darkness of the skies and at night calming.
This truly is a beautiful and spectacular place for the old and young to enjoy.
Perfect for families or friends of all ages.

About Us

We are a family of 4, with 2 small boys. We have lived in the town for 11 years and both work full time. Dennis as maintanance manager for a popular tour company and Lee-Anne for the Local municipality.
We enjoy the outdoors and ski as often as we can in the Winter months. Our Eldest Son Oscar started at age 2 and is already hooked.
In the summer we enjoy hiking to the many lakes, mountain biking and just enjoy the mountains we live in.
We are avid travellers and try to get away for at least 4-8 weeks each year. Both our boys Oscar 4 and Shea 1 following along behind us.
We are proud to call Whistler our home because of the international draw it has and the wonderful people we meet from around the world, who come to the town for their vacations.
