Description

Our family home sits on a gentle rise in Stoke, a few minutes from Nelson city. Open plan offers generous decks and lovely landscaped heated swimming pool. Careful planting creates privacy and views over mountains, beaches and sea. This area is famous for sunshine and large windows and deep eaves make the most of this stunning climate. We have not skimped on equipment, and our imaginative decorating style creates a really fun environment, including the mezzanine floor in the bedroom, and the swinging chair on the jasmine deck!

Neighborhood

Typical suburban neighbourhood, with every house surrounded by garden. We encouarge gates through our neighbours fences and have an active system of neighbourhood watch. You will meet our neighbours and they will be helpful. Houses in this part of town don't change owners often! It is often more peaceful here than in the countryside, and the view of the night sky from the pool is enhanced by our isolation from main roads.

About Us

WE are a Doctor and a teacher, our family enjoyed growing up in this home, and now we like to get together here with friends for long mellow evenings on the deck in summer, or cozy games round the fire in winter. You might also enjoy the well tuned kawwaii grand piano. We are learning languages including french and my wife is a potter with a studio on the site.
