Description

Beautiful victorian house with open fires, wooden floors. centrally heated, secluded, well tended garden with patio and barbeque. 15 mins to central London. Station is 2 mins from house. flexible with regard to dates and family size as house set up as 2 self contained appartments. there are 5 bedrooms in total. 2 large living rooms in a friendly neighbourhood. good wine bar on the corner! all shops and amentites within walking distance.

Neighborhood

Station 2 mins away, DLR 10 mins walk. neighbourhood friendly, full of artists and musicians. Lovely park 3 mins away. Local shops very close, and large shopping area 10 minutes away. Wine bar on the corner and distinctive old buildings. you can be on the south bank at the millenium wheel the festival hall in 20 minutes, or Trafalgar square and trains are regular. Greenwich, the dome and the Kent countryside are also very close. There are countless castles and national trust properties in Kent which can be easily reached by car or train from here.

About Us

We are both musicians and my husband also lectures in a university. I speak Spanish and have spent alot of time in Cuba. I am very interested in spending time in other countries and in making a sucessful, long term house swap with a friendly family. we have 2 teenage girls, 14 and 16, who spend part of their time with us, so we would be keen to travel both as a couple, and as a family. My family are from Scotland and we also have access to a very small cottage in the mountains.

Destination

we are looking for short breaks and family breaks. we can be flexible as the house is divided into 2 appartments so a non-simultaneous exhange is possible. we are really keen on short breaks as a couple.
