Description

We have a cozy 2500 sq. ft. home on 10 acres in the "Live Music Capital of the World", Austin, Texas. If you do not know about SXSW, you must check it out!

We feel like we live out in the country with our resident road runners, rabbits, deer and three horses yet we very close (about 7 miles) to downtown Austin. Perfect for anyone coming to Austin for SXSW. We are on the Southwest side of town so we are on the edge of the beautiful Texas hillcountry. Austin is a beautiful town with many outdoor activities-hiking, biking, canoeing.

Our Master bedroom has a king-sized bed and the two childrens' rooms have full sized beds with an adjoining bath. Children are certainly welcome and we have a playscape, lots of land and trampoline they can enjoy.

Grocery store, Starbucks and many amenities within 1 mile of our home. Outdoor only pets are welcome and there is a full gate around the property. Children are certainly welcome as well.

Neighborhood

Lots of space yet so close to many amenities. Very peaceful and it feels/looks like we're in the country but we're in the Austin city limits and close to everything. Very nice $400,000 community on both sides of our property. Our children love to play on all the acreage.

About Us

We are the parents of two cutie-pies (ages 7 and 4). My husband is a real estate broker and developer and for the time being, I am a stay at home mom. Our children are at a good age now to start traveling more and we are very excited to give them an opportunity to see the world and learn about other cultures. This spring (mid-March), we are hoping to take them skiing during their Spring Break from school.

Destination

Our dates are fairly flexible. We would love to trade during the holiday season while our children are on break. We are also open to longer trades in the summer and during our children's break from school in the Spring (usually March/April). Perfect for anyone wanting to come to SXSW in 2008! We would prefer to be somewhere near a ski resort this March but again, we're flexible.
