Description

Our home has all the comforts packed into 2025 square feet. We have High Definition TV, DVD/VHS and TV's in all rooms. The master en-suite bedroom has a king size bed and all rooms have beautiful views and access to the decks. The view is a State Park and Lake Natoma as well as old town Folsom. Directly across our small lane is a swimming pool and spa. There are 2.5 bathrooms, an Art studio/office/ computer room, and a fully equiped kitchen. A car is necessary although there is a light rail system to nearby Sacramento, the state capital and a great city to visit for history, theater, restuarants, and it's wonderful old town, complete with paddlewheelers just like the ones on the mississippi river.

Neighborhood

Our neighborhood is contained and nicely landscaped. There are wonderful walks and bike trails in the park below and the lake is great for swimming or kayaking/canoeing. It is a very quiet area with wonderful neighbors who are open to meeting people from all over the world. We are close enough to stores and the newer part of Folsom for all the conveniencs. Folsom is centrally located to many of the favorite Northern California locations such as San Francisco, Yosemite, Napa Valley Wine country, Redwoods, Lake Tahoe and Reno.

About Us

We are two retired teachers, experienced exchangers and world travelers. We love Art and Theater, Kayaking, hiking and exploring new places. I am an artist and my wife a published writer, we are active retirees. We speak only English, although we try to learn the basic words to be friendly in other countries as well.

Destination

Since we are retired we are fairly flexible as to dates and times. We can do non-simultaneous exchanges as we are usually gone in August for a working trip. If you like warm weather August is our warmest month and the pool and lake really come in handy. We, of course, have air conditioning.
