Description

A superbly presented traditional colour washed cottage of great charm built circa 1770 and totally renovated. Features wood burning stove, 3 pretty bedrooms and cottage garden. The cottage has a fully fitted kitchen with butler sink and downstairs WC. The lounge is stylishly furnished and soooooo comfortable.

Neighborhood

With the typical british weather, all will not be lost because you can curl up in front of a roaring fire or take a short walk to a local pub. Use our bicycles and go for a long ride or take the car out and visit numerous places of interest (e.g. Lincoln Castle, York, Leeds and Cleethorpes).

The cottage is located at the end of a private track with no passing traffic is completely surrounded by fields with sheep, cows and peacocks.

About Us

We are Lisa & David Pearce. We welcome you to our home. Lisa is a PA and David is retired. We both enjoy lazing around, listening to the countryside, walking, our pets and visiting places of interest. We consider ourselves quite a tidy couple and with no children we always ensure that our home is kept very updated and well maintained. David is DIY king!

We would be looking for homes with similar standards.

Destination

We are looking to exchange with like-minded people. We like to 'chill' but we'd prefer to do that in a comfortable home with a view, glass of wine in hand. We like walking, we have pets, quite a few, we'd prefer people to exchange with us who also like animals. We have 10 cats and 1 dog (alsation). We'd prefer not to put any of them in to shelter. We would look after your pets too (not wild like zebras, antelope or lions) just your common everyday domestic animal. Not particularly good with horses either. Do you have a good book collection. Is there plenty to see and do round your neighbourhood. We like cycling. We will leave our car if you do too. Do you look after your house? We do, we'd prefer to stay somewhere where the home is well maintained. Everything works in our house!!
