Description

My oceanfront apartment is available for home exchange to non-smoking dog lovers who will care for my golden retriever while visiting. If you're looking for action and excitement and lots of people this is not the place....unless you don't mind the 40 minute drive to Waikiki. The only thing to do here is swim, snorkel, dive (right off the beach in front of the place), relax by the pool, meet the locals, and surf. Maili Point (a good surf spot) is within walking distance. Exceptional fishing and diving right in front of my apt. located within a gated community....very peaceful, safe place to get away from it all. About 40 minute drive to the North Shore. Lots of hiking trails close by (within a few minutes). Nothing to hear but the sound of the waves.
I have one double bed and a couch but prefer only 1 or 2 people staying at a time. Full kitchen and bath.

Neighborhood

The best part about it is the unobstructed oceanfront view. the only thing between me and the beach is the pool shared by all residents. Mountain views from the opposite side of the apartment. Little tourism on the west side of the island. Get a taste of local culture. Secluded beaches...great diving. Bus stop right in front of the apartment complex. Convenience store across the street and about 3 miles to the grocery store. Mostly retired people sharing the complex so it's very quiet and extremely safe here.

About Us

I am a single professional female who loves to travel. Maybe the only thing I love more is my dog, Daisy. (: So it is extremely important to find someone more than willing to take care of her. I work evenings so I spend my days surfing and exercising with my dog on the beach or diving when there is no surf. I enjoy most outdoor activities and am a bit of a health nut so I prefer to travel to places with lots of activity. I would love to exchange places with someone near a ski/snowboarding resort or another tropical island.
