Description

Our home is an 1800 sq ft ground-level, landscaped mobile home in a private golf community called Fountain of the Sun in the East Valley of the Phoenix, Arizona area. We have two small rat terriers, are non-smokers and love all the amenities of this community. There is a large pool, jacuzza, fitness center, recreation hall, restaurant and post office. We do not yet have a golf/country club membership, but they may offer summer discounts. We have 24 x 7 security on the premises. This is a friendly 55+ adult community. We have direct TV service, trash pick up, a large carport plus front entrance, and of course all appliances and private mailbox on a cul-de-sac.

Neighborhood

Fantastic views of the Arizona mountains and desert with regular sightings of Quail, rabbits, and coyotes (necessary to keep small pets on a leash or inside). This is a fun adult community with lots of activities in and around the pool and recreation center, even during the warm summer months. Short drive to the airport, professional sports (Diamond Backs baseball stadium, Cardinals football, Phoenix International Raceway and Firebird International Raceway), and the City of Phoenix. It's also a short drive to Tucson to the Pima Air Museum and Titan Missile site.

About Us

We love to travel, are now semi-retired and have family spread out from Massachusetts to Florida on the East coast to Oregon, California and Colorado on the West Coast. We're anxious to visit the New England area (and possibly a short visit to Florida) sometime July/August. We travel with our 2 rat terriers who are kept on a very short leash, are neutered and house trained. We may be interested in international travel sometime around this same time next year.
