Description

We have a comfortable modern single storey home. The formal lounge/dining room, family room and the central open plan kitchen/dining area have floor to ceiling windows and sliding doors which overlook and open onto the outdoor entertaining area, solar heated swimming pool and secluded garden. The outdoor entertaining area has a BBQ and seating for twelve people.
The master bedroom has a queen size bed, built in wardrobes and ensuite bathroom. There are two other bedrooms separated by the living areas from the master bedroom. One has a queen bed the other a double bed and both have built in wardrobes and share a bathroom and separate WC. The laundry is adjacent to the second bathroom and toilet.. There is a study with internet (high speed). The family room and master bedroom have reverse cycle air conditioning and there are ceiling fans in the family room, all the bedrooms and outdoor entertaining area. There is a big double garage to park our 4WD (Nissan Pathfinder) The garage also contains our workshop, clothes dryer, bicycles and golf clubs.

Neighborhood

Our home is located in a quiet friendly residential area (young families and retirees) 15 minutes from trendy Hastings St (restaurants & designer label boutiques) and Noosa Main Beach. We are five minutes from Noosa River (Gympie Terrace restaurants & yacht club ) the Noosa Civic Shopping Centre and the Par 3 golf course.
Noosa is a vibrant community and popular tourist destination attracting many international visitors. It is famous for its stunning beaches, beautiful hinterland (Blackall Ranges) and coastal scenery and abundant flora and fauna. ( Koalas, kangaroos and whales are often seen)
Noosa has easy access to world heritage listed Fraser Island and Australia Zoo(Steve Irwin the Crocodile Hunter).We are half an hour from The Sunshine Coast airport(domestic flights)The city of Brisbane and Brisbane international airport is approximately one and a half hours by car or train.
Noosa is the perfect all year round holiday destination. It has a sub tropical climate 28-32C Sept-April, 20-25C May-Aug.

About Us

We are Peter and Jan both in our fifties. We relocated from Sydney when we retired five years ago. Peter was a fire fighter and Jan an advertising consultant. We both enjoy travelling, visiting new places and making new friends. We are looking forward to many exciting home exchanges in different parts of the world. We have an idyllic lifestyle in Noosa and since retiring have found more time to pursue our many interests music, art,theatre, wining and dining. We like to go to the beach every morning to walk in the national park and swim after which we meet our friends at Bistro C on the beach for coffee and a gossip. Peter enjoys a game of golf (there are five golf courses all within a fifteen minute drive of our home) and fishing. We belong to the Noosa Yacht and Rowing Club Noosa jazz club and Noosa Arts Theatre.
