Open to offers for just after Christmas 2011.
Our House is spacious, warm and bright. Our kitchen is big with a log burning stove, leading on to a deck where there is a table tennis table, pool table, punch bag, dart board, barbecue and outdoor dining
table.
We have a large sitting room with a 40 inch TV and a well equipped office with fast speed broadband. We have one ground floor double bedroom and upstairs there are three other bedrooms. One single room, one double, each with a tv, dvd and playstation [also spare single matress for extra children available] and a master bedroom with a king size bed, en-suite and TV. Outside there is a large garden, trampoline and a wooden kids playhouse. There is a Barbeque and football goals. We have bicycles in various sizes and a double kayak. We have two cars, a 2007 citreon Berlingo with a roof rack to bring the kayak to the river and a 2011 Ford Fiesta. We will exchange one of the cars also.

Quartiere

We live on a country road about 1k from the picturesque village of Castleconnell on the River Shannon. There are lovely walks on the Shannon banks, and safe road's for cycling. Our local shop is a short walk and we are only 10km from the Limerick City and one hour from the West Coast of Clare and Kerry. We are only 30 minutes from Shannon Airport.
Nearby there are beautiful towns, such as Killaloe and Ballina. Lough Derg is very close too.
We are approx 2 hours from Dublin. 40 minutes from the Rock of Cashel.
This is a great location for touring Ireland.

Chi siamo

I [Cora - 46] work from Home as an artist and interior designer and my husband Mike [age 48] is a senior manager. We have two children, Sean aged 18 and Sadhbh aged 13. There is a playstation 3, a trampoline, doll's houses, bicycles, computer/broadband, etc [children very welcome]. We also have a cat [Coco] which we hope you will feed for us while we're away. When the weather is good we like to go to the Shannon river [2km] to Swim and kayak.
We have made house exchanges before and will treat your house as if it were our own.

Destinazione

We are open to offers in Europe and also England, Wales and Scotland.
If you like the look of our house, and we did not mention your country, ask us anyway. We are open to ideas. We could only offer a simultaneous exchange.
We have exchanged several times now and think this is the best way to holiday.
