Maison

Our House is spacious and bright. Our kitchen is big with a deck outside it. We have a large sitting room with TV and a well equipped office. There is a table tennis table, pool table, punch bag and dart board on the deck outside.
We have one ground floor double bedroom and upstairs there are three other bedrooms. one single room, one double each with tv dvd and playstation [also inflatable matresses for extra people available] and a master bedroom with a king size bed, en-suite and TV. Outside there is a large garden, and trampoline. There is a Barbeque and football goals. We have bicycles in various sizes and two kayak's. We have two cars one with a roof rack on the car to bring the kayaks to the river. We will exchange cars also.

Quartier

We live on a country road about 1k from the picturesque village of Castleconnell on the River Shannon. Our local shop is very near and We are only 10k from the City of Limerick and One and half hours from the West Coast of Clare and Kerry. Only 30 minutes from shannon airport.
Nearby there are the beautiful towns of Killaloe and Ballina and Lough Derg. This is a great location for touring Ireland.

À propos de nous

I work from Home as an interior Designer and my husband Mike works locally also. We have two children, Sean agaed 15 and Sadhbh aged 11 there is a playstation, trampoline, Doll's houses, children's bicycles, computer/broadband, etc [so children very welcome]. We also have a cat [Koko] which we hope you will feed for us while we're away. When the weather is good we like to go to the Shannon river [2km] to Swim and kayak.
We have made house exchanges before and will treat your house as if it were our own.

Destination

If you like the look of our house, and we did not mention your country, ask us anyway. We are open to ideas. We could only offer a simultaneous exchange.
Our preferance is for Europe although we are flexible. We are hoping for an exchange for this summer - ideally in August and ideally a home with a swimming pool or near the sea.
However, we are open to all offers.
We have exchanged several times now and think this is the best way to holiday.
