Description

Our house is 2 storey semi-detached with 4 bedrooms one double, two singles and one with bunkbeds all upstairs. There are 3 bathrooms one main, one ensuite and toilet downstairs. Downstairs there is a large sittingroom with flatscreen tv,dvd and stereo, large kithen with seperate laundry with washing-machine and dining room with office off with full internet facilities. There is a garden front and back .We get the sun to the back early and most of the day and there is a patio area where you can sit out. We have a large trampoline in the back garden. We have three bycycles which you could use while you are here.

Neighborhood

We live in a quiet suburb of NAVAN Co MEATH which is a medium size town close to the ancient sites of Tara, New Grange and Kells. We are about 40 mins from Dublin city and airport and we are close to a regular bus service to the city. We are very close to some beautiful countryside and about half an hour from the beautiful beach at Laytown and Bettystown. In Navan we have everything we need ,a big shopping centre, a public swimming pool with kiddies pool, large slide and gym, newly opened theatre cum arts centre, golf course, and race track. There are lots of good restaurants and irish pubs. It still retains its old world charm situated on the river Boyne which has some lovely walks.There is a smaller shopping complex about 5 mins walk from the house which has a great supermarket. The house is opposite a green and there are fields up to the right where you can hear the sheep bleeting.

About Us

There are five in our family Joe, Ciara and three boys Diarmuid 16 ,Ronan 13 and Conor 12. This is our first time house swapping and we are looking forward to it. We think it is a great idea. We have been living in Navan for seven years. Before that we lived in Ausralia for 11 years and all the boys were born there. Next year they will all be in highschool. I am a stay at home mam but hope to return to work soon. I like sewing ,walking and yoga. Joe works in sales and loves tinkering with his motorbike and cars and diy. The boys all love soccer and follow Man u and Liverpool. Conor plays the drums and is in an accordian band.

Destination

We would like to go to Paris and visit Disney Paris We would be arriving at Beauvais Airport. We are open to staying in the city or out a little bit but handy to both city and Disney. It would have to be a simultaneous swap.
