My husband and I recently moved into this beautiful 4 bedroom 3 bathroom 2118 square foot home, which was built in 2005. The home has a split floor plan with the master bedroom and bathroom on one side of the home, and the remaining 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the other side.
As you enter our home, immediately you'll notice it's tall ceilings and clean, large, open rooms. Our home has 4 bedrooms and a bonus room, which we've turned into a game room. We have a Playstation 3 and several games (including 'his', 'hers' and 'kids'). We own seveal board and card games (something we spend a lot of time doing). Outside we have a screened- in lanai where we often sit outside and enjoy the 'cool' evenings (75 degrees in June). Our home has 3 full bathrooms, so finding your very own in a time of need is not a problem!!

Neighborhood

We live in a quiet neighborhood located minutes away from so much!! Only a 10 minute drive will get you to the beach! 30 minutes to the Gulf of Mexico!

Sunny Southwest Florida is known for its fabulous life outdoors, including: fishing, golfing, kayaking and boating. Nature tours, camping and bird watching are also favorites of the area. Nearby Manatee Park houses several of Florida's endangered manatees and mangrove trees. Kayaking is even available around these magnificent creatures!

There is much culture in the area including the Edison-Ford Winter Estates and several museums. Thomas Edison himself spent his winters here in Fort Myers. His home is now open to the public and is considered a historical treasure of the area.

Sports fans will also love it here!! Fort Myers is the Spring Training location for both the Boston RED SOX as well and the Minnesota TWINS only 15 minutes away!
Hockey fans will enjoy the semi-professional Florida Everblades located only 40 minutes away!!

20 minutes to downtown Fort Myers where you'll find comedy and dance clubs, coffee houses, dancing, amazing food and a performing arts hall.

30 minutes to the Greyhound Track which is open daily and year round!
The Seminole Indian Casino is located only 45 minutes away includes poker, slot machines and auctions. More than 62 million dollars -paid out monthly!

About Us

Hello, we are Jason, Alicia and little Jayson!!
My husband and I have one child, a little boy, although we would love to have more. My husband is a registered nurse and I am a middle school teacher. We are both caring and responsible adults.
Both my husband as well as myself are from the north and moved to Florida to be closer to our families. We do not regret our decision, however we desperately miss the snow and the change of seasons, especially around Christmas time.
We've traveled several little pieces of the United States and have enjoyed each of them. For our honeymoon we drove from our home to New Orleans, the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, Colorado and back home.

Both his and my mom live within 5 minutes in case they are needed. My sister lives with her husband and 3 little boys only a few minutes away. They are 5, 2 and 1 year old.

We will arrange for you to be picked up from the airport.

Destination

This is our first time doing a house exchange. We understand that this is your home that you are opening up to us and we appreciate that you trust us with something so important. We will treat your home with the respect you would expect. Please understand that our home is very important to us and we expect you to be respectful of it as well.
We look forward to sharing this experience with you!!

As a teacher, I have summer and winter vacations (plus a week in spring) doing an exchange during one of these times would work best for our family.
