Description

My home is a 3-bedroom tri-level home with a large deck overlooking a series of backyard ponds. The decks are mahogany and lead down from the top level which is off the kitchen, to the yards and gardens below.

It has a large well-equipped gourmet kitchen with double ovens and all new appliances. The kitchen includes a dinette area that seats 4.

The living room has a 14 foot vaulted, beamed ceiling with large windows on the southern exposure. This is a very spacious living area with a large dining area adjoining the living room. There are two full baths one with a bath and shower, and one with a vanity area and separate stool and shower area. This one is off a master suite that has vaulted ceilings and large windows. It is very conducive to a good night's rest. The beds are new with good mattresses.

There is a full laundry room and family room on the lower level. Both the family room and living room have wood burning fireplaces. The family room includes a home theater. WiFi installed with signal that extends to gardens and yard.

There is a two-car garage.



Neighborhood

Gresham is a suburb of Portland Oregon. The home is located on a dead-end street that is quiet and secluded. Our neighbors take care of each other and pay attention to our quality of life. We are in a residential neighborhood conducive to long walks. You are a short drive away from restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping centers. It is a very secure and safe environment. We are within a 90 minute drive of the Oregon Coast and are 30 minutes from Mt. Hood. Multnomah Falls and the beautiful Columbia River Gorge are just minutes away.

About Us

I am a professional 59 year old woman. I am a project manager, evaluator and trainer. I primarily work in the fields of community and economic development and education.

My hobbies include reading, playing the piano, gardening and politics. I have two grown children. My son lives in Portland and is close by should any need arise concerning the home. My daughter lives in Hawaii.

I share my home with an adorable cocker spaniel and four indoor/outdoor cats. They will need a bit of love and attention from the house exchangers!

I am reliable and caring person that will take good care of your home, plants, critters, and environment.

Destination

I am seeking an exchange with someone in Kona on the Big Island in Hawaii. I fly in on Nov. 5th and return to Portland on November 22, 2007
