Our beautiful home has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms over 3 levels. Master bedroom, bathroom and 1 bedroom on top level. Living areas, kitchen, dining and main bathroom on the middle level & 2 bedrooms and laundry on the bottom floor (there are only 6 and 8 stairs between the levels).

Our home is adorned with lovely pieces of artwork that we have proudly collected over the years making it a very interesting home & yet still allowing it feel homely.
The kitchen is superbly equipped & is a cooks delight with a large gas stove with 6 burners, large oven & a library of fabulous cook books to give you inspiration. The stunning stone bench tops are encircled by stools allowing for you to eat around the bench very comfortably. Off the kitchen is the family room with a large plasma TV screen.

Upstairs the master bedroom is equipped with a queen bedroom suite & also has a large plasma TV in it, off the bedroom is a small outside deck. The views from the windows and deck are stunning, looking over the paddocks and experiencing beautiful sunrises. The bathroom is just outside the bedroom and a short corridor leads through a door to the next bedroom, allowing for the master room to be shut off for privacy. The other 2 bedrooms downstairs have double beds in them.

The alfresco entertaining areas span over 3 decks, the front deck leads off the dining room which allows you to open the bi-folding doors fully back and extend your dining to the outside area, or use the beautiful comfy chairs that are setup outside under the shade of the trees while listening to the gentle sounds of the water fountain, this area is very private & a truly relaxation spot. Off the formal lounge room is a smaller alfresco deck with a table & chairs, ideal for a couple to escape to! The larger deck is off the family room with two seating areas, a dining table under the canapy of the grapevine and a lounge setting under the all weather area.

Our home is situated an easy 20 minute drive to the centre of the city. We are surrounded by stunning views of the Brindabella Mountains and bushland. We back the nature reserve which gives a lovely rural feel to our home, and yet it is only a 15 minute walk to local shops and restaurants. We often have kangaroos just the other side of our back gate, and horses graze in the nearby paddocks. Simply step outside our gate and you will experience fabulous bush tracks for walking and a great cycle tracks if you feel energetic! The house is positioned a very quiet and safe street of only 12 homes.

Canberra is Australia's national capital, a beautiful lakeside city full of lovely parklands, national museums, libraries, art galleries, theatres, restaurants and wineries, and of course is home to the stunning architectural delight that is Parliament House. Many activities in Canberra are free.

In mid September Canberra comes in to bloom with the renowned Floriade, a flower & bulb exhibition, again a free event running for 1 month, a true experience.

Eating out in Canberra is a gastronomic experience, the choice is vast and the standards are high. We are home to many cool climate wineries, visited them yourself or plan a wine tour which is a lovely day out.

It is an ideal location for people looking for an enjoyable holiday in Australia as we are so centrally located to many areas offering many activities.

We are only a 2 hour drive to the Snowy Mountains where you will discover stunning bush walks through summer or in winter exhillerating ski runs. A 1.5 hour drive will take you to the South Coast where you will experience some of the most beautiful coastal scenery and fabulous beaches in Australia, and we are just a 3 hour drive to Sydney. A 1 hour flight will have you into Melbourne if you so desire.

Canberra is a delight to live in and to visit with attractions that appeal to the young and not so young.

We are a family of 5, Sam 42 and Amanda 53 who has 3 daughters, only one lives at home, Natasha, she is studying law and physiology. The other two girls live nearby, Claire is a nurse and Sarah a doctors receptionist.
Sam is a builder and Amanda works within the community caring for disabled and elderly people.

We are animal lovers and until recently we had 3 dogs, but as they were all quite old they have passed on, we miss them very much. We would be happy to consider looking after your pets and simple gardening duties.We love our garden and hope that you would be able to just water our garden occasionally, most of it is set up with an automated watering system.
We are both non-smokers and would prefer to share our home with the same although we don't mind if you smoke outside.

We love spending time together as a family and entertaining, travel is a passion!

We are house proud people and would treat your home like our own.
