Description

Used in over 25 film and TV spots, our 3 bedroom, 3 bath, den, and pool home is pristine, yet warm and welcoming. Wood floors with area rugs, flat screen in master bedroom, fully air conditioned, charming Tuscan style kitchen with great appliances, and an outdoor gas grill. Our home is featured in the movies In Her Shoes with Cameron Diaz, Disney's Haunted Mansion with Eddie Murphy, and will be in a Ben Stiller upcoming comedy. We have a great dining room with french doors that open to an outdoor dining patio in addition to a sunlit breakfast room. Upstairs is a cozy den with TV, 3 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms. There is a quaint backyard art studio and an outdoor firepit. Living room has a gas/wood burning fireplace. Our stereo system plays indoors and outdoors.

Neighborhood

We live on a curving tree-lined street in the historic district called Historic Highlands in Pasadena, CA. We are surrounded by oak trees and incredible architecture. Our neighborhood attracts many to its annual Home Tour because of its beauty. A block away is Bungalow Heaven, a noted residential historic landmark district. We are a 6 minute drive to Old Town Pasadena, a well known arts and culture district with world class shopping and dining. The Norton Simon Museum, Gamble House, Pasadena Playhouse, and Huntington Library and Gardens are all nearby. We are a 20 minute drive to Downtown L.A. with its Music Center, Disney Hall, MOCA, and Chinatown.

About Us

I am an art educator at a local museum and my husband is a psychologist. We love Pasadena for its beauty, its trees, its art and culture, and community. We enjoy sharing our home and look forward to making your stay enjoyable by providing you with tips on great places to see and things to do. We will care for your home as we do for our own. We are open to many possible times and locations for exchange. Cars are possible too.

Destination

We would like to visit the Berkshires, Mass this July 1-8 to attend a play in Williamstown. We are open to all other offers as well.
