Description

I have a good size apartment in a new building. My apartment has a large bedroom and many amenities. I have a range, oven, microwave and washer/dryer in unit. I have a small balcony good for reading or drinking wine. The top of the building has been built into a patio and has impressive views of downtown Seattle. I have central heating and television as well as internet access. I live on the top floor so there is no one above to make noise. It is a nice complex with friendly people.

Neighborhood

Seattle downtown is a quick bus ride away with the famous Pike Place Market, Space Needle and Experience Music Project. Less than two miles way is the Woodland Park Zoo, one of the first zoos in the country to have naturalistic habitats and considered one of the best zoos in North America. North of my apartment is Green Lake, a popular destination for joggers and sun bathers. Down the hill is a collection of high end shops (think Ralph Lauren). The University of Washington is less than two miles away. With the Puget Sound surrounding most of the city, boat rentals and beaches pepper the community.

About Us

I have just completed university with a degree in graphic design and comparative history of ideas. I am contemplating attending graduate school for intellectual history and realize that I may never have another opportunity to travel. I am unsure of what to do with my life despite getting into graduate school and am hoping that spending sometime with myself and traveling I may discover what career I should pursue. I speak limited French but have always dreamed of traveling to Italy and France. With my art history background seeing the impressive sights and considering the living history is quite exciting. I have looked in earnest for ways to truly get a sense of any place I may travel and believe that doing a home exchange might be the best way. I am quite and extremely respectful of others.
