Description

Three level (side/back split) private 2,300 sq. ft. home on one acre lot adjacent to parkland with beautiful forest and mountain views. Special features include cathedral windows, hardwood floors (walnut), handrails with matching walnut trim and split-level deck with hot tub. Open design with kitchen, dining area, study, bathroom and bedroom on one level, living room on next level, and two bedrooms and bathroom on third level. (One bedroom is currently used as a dressing room but may convert easily to a bedroom with a blow-up mattress that is also available). Parking space easily accommodates three vehicles at bottom of driveway.

Neighborhood

Our neighbourhood is quiet with lots of newly-developed homes in the area. There are lots of shops and malls within a 5-minute drive and downtown Victoria is about a 15-minute drive.

About Us

I am recently retired from the provincial government where I held the position of Portfolio Manager for the Ministry of Economic Development. My husband is semi-retired and runs a finishing carpentry crew. We are both members of Royal Colwood Golf Course which is a short 5-minute drive from where we live.

Destination

Dates and destinations are flexible. Our current preferences, however, are as follows:

- Minimum of three weeks in either Australia or New Zealand over Christmas/New Years 2008/09.
- Minimum of two weeks in Paris, France in the fall of 2009 plus a minimum one week stay in Barcelona, Spain.
