Description

Welcome to Northern Westchester. Our home is located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac with heated pool. We have a nice garden, deck and front porch. There is ample room of about 3400 square feet, PLUS a finished basement with plasma TV and surround sound.

On the main floor we have a bedroom with a very comfortable queen bed and en suite full bath. Also, there is a large dining room, tranquil living room (with piano), kitchen/breakfast area (granite counter tops) and family room. There's another big screen TV with surround sound in the family room!

Upstairs are 4 more bedrooms. The master is large and has a King bed with en suite bathroom. The kids bedrooms have single beds and a futon/chair, the guest bedroom has a double futon.

We have baseboard heat and whole house air conditioning, but the house is nicely shaded from the worst of the afternoon summer sun so it's hardly needed. Plus did I mention the pool!

Neighborhood

We're at the end of a cul-de-sac, so it's peaceful and safe. It's a nice walk around the neighbourhood, and the town center of Somers is 1 mile away. Close by are beautiful biking and hiking trails. Alternatively, we're a 7 minute drive to the train station which will whisk you directly to Grand Central Station in Manhattan.

About Us

Our family has four members - a scientist, nurse, and two very well behaved daughters (14 and 17). We love to travel, and would like totry out home exhange for the first time. Rest assured, we would be very careful in your home.

Destination

We're thinking of Paris for 7-10 days as I have a conference in Tuscany in early August.
