SPECTACULAR SUNSETS - THE CARMEL OF THE NORTH
Our home is a side by side duplex at Crescent Beach. From our living room and dining room we have spectacular sunset views. We enjoy the mountain and expansive ocean views. The kitchen includes stainless steel appliances and a bright skylight. We have a treadmill, infra-red sauna, mountain bikes, gas BBQ, fabulous neighbors, 42" HD TV, and a state of the art water filtration system. Our home is clean and comfortably furnished. There are 2 bdrms, but room to sleep 5 comfortably. There are 2 bathrooms. The decks provide fabulous outdoor living spaces. Skiers, golfers, cyclists, lovers of life are welcome.

Quartier

The Amtrak from Seattle to Vancouver goes by our door every day. We are located 10 min. from golfing, and shopping; 15 min. to the Peace Arch Border crossing to the USA. The bus stop is one block away. The beach promenade is about 3 blocks away. First class neighborhood west coast style restaurants are just steps from our door. There are lots of young families in the area involved in the swim club, the triathlon club and the sailing club. The yacht club is just up the road. The best bakery around is just up the hill. The fresh produce market is 5 minutes away. It is a 30 min. drive to the Vancouver Island Ferry Terminal and 45 min. to Vancouver. We are 3 hours from Whistler Village. We have a Ford Explorer SUV.

Walking, hiking, skiing, water sports, tennis, cycling and birding are all at our fingertips.

Len is a commercial project manager who travels between projects. I travel to collect peak life experiences for my writing/publishing and photography. I am also a travel agent. My husband Len and I are seasoned travelers.

In 2005 I ran the Rome Marathon with Team Diabetes Canada. In 2007 we had a fantastic adventure in Ostuni La Citta Bianca Puglia Italy. We also made our first trip to Kauai that same year and fell in love with the climate and vegetation. In 2008 I was in Portugal and Kauai again.

We love to explore new cultures, discover new foods, spices and fabrics; we enjoy snorkeling, hiking, cycling and capturing great photos. We speak French, some Spanish and are learning to speak Italian. We have 4 adult children who are busy raising our 7 grandchildren.

We are looking forward to spending more time in Italy. We also would like to do the Tour de France on a motorcycle so that I can capture some great sports photos.

We are interested in Spain, Bali, Dubai, Australia, South America - wherever we can experience new peak life experiences.
