Description

My apartment is a one bedroom loft conversion with high specification furnishings and plenty of art on the walls.

The building is a former textile factory that has been converted into just 4 flats.

It is approximately 800 square feet.

To the rear is a private terrace which is rare for central London apartments. Big enough for four people to sit outside in the sunshine and eat dinner or have a BBQ (I can't guarantee the sunshine though!)

I have provided a top end, electrically-inflatable mattress, in addition to my large comfy sofa, should your party consist of more than 2 people.

Fully-fitted modern bathroom with bath and shower.

Washer/dryer.

High-speed Wifi internet.

Neighborhood

The apartment is situated between Farringdon and Hoxton in Zone 1 (the most central travel zone).

Because of it's proximity to the City of London (the financial district) the area is extremely safe and clean.

You can walk into town along the Thames and it will take you 45 minutes - an incredible walk where you pass so many landmarks like St.Paul's Cathedral, the Gherkin, the London Wall, and Somerset House.

The nearest tube station is Old Street - which is two minutes walk from the apartment. And to get right into the centre of town - Oxford Circus for example - it will take ten minutes tops.

Other transport links like buses and taxis are plentiful too. Old Street is a main transport hub so that includes night buses too.

There are lots of supermarkets, pharmacies, great restaurants, atmospheric pubs within a minute's walk of the flat.

Hoxton is famous for being the birthplace of the Young British Art scene and there are lots of super galleries and art centres to visit right around the corner like the White Cube and the Barbican Centre.

It really is a great area - you feel like you're properly in London as soon as you walk out the door - which is why I moved here in the first place I guess!

I'm an English television script writer. A big believer that good manners, politeness and courtesy are absolutely vital - which is why I think I make a great home exchanger!

Destination

I love to travel so I am pretty open-minded about any destination around the world. I am flexible about dates - for example it doesn't have to be a simultaneous exchange - if you want to come here on a set date then I go to yours at a later date that's completely fine.

I don't have any children or pets so it'll only ever be me plus maybe one other, so the size of your property isn't really an issue.
