Maison

Large (3800 sq ft) two story + finished basement family home in cozy suburb of Vancouver, British Columbia. Walk to the ocean and take a stroll along Crescent Beach or check out the village restaurants and coffee shop. Also nearby are many trails, parks and children's playgrounds as well as tennis courts and golf courses. The house is well equipped for young children.

There are five bedrooms. Master bdrm has king bed with jetted spa tub and separate shower ensuite. Queen bed second bdrm, baby bed in third bdrm, another full bathroom with tub and shower (all on top floor of house). Basement level has two more bdrms, both with double beds. There is also a bathroom on this level with a luxury steam shower.

Main floor features large open kitchen, butler's pantry, laundry, formal dining room, office, living room. There is also a large recreation room in the basement with plasma television.

The kitchen and living room open onto a covered porch area with natural gas bbq in the back of the house overlooking a lovely garden.

Quartier

Our home is located in the southernmost point of Surrey, British Columbia on a bluff near Crescent Beach. Stairs leading to the ocean are just a few blocks away. We are also within walking distance to Crescent Park and numerous other walking trails. The community is close to White Rock beach and 30kms to Vancouver and the airport. There are many excellent golf courses in the community and tennis courts are plentiful as well. Vancouver is an easy day trip away.

À propos de nous

My husband and I are entrepreneurs in our early forties with two young boys ages 1 and 3. We traveled a lot before the boys were born and would now like to introduce them to different parts of the world. This would be our first home exchange.

Destination

We are currently looking to do an exchange to London, England for the month of June, 2010. As this is our only residence, we would appreciate a simultaneous exchange but are open to other offers. We would also consider other locations for vacations or holidays.
