How about Easter Time - 7 - 14 April 2008 in a lovely English cottage, end of terrace, on a very quiet cul-de-sac dirt road. Large garden with trampoline and terrace for outdoor eating. Downstairs a roomy kitchen/diner with Rayburn cooker, a wc, a small single bedroom, a small sitting room with overhead movie projector and TV, a cosy lounge with TV. Upstairs 2 further single rooms and a family bathroom with shower, bath and WC. Spacious master bedroom with ensuite bathroom.

Neighborhood

Forest Row is a small village full of alternative shops, organic farms and food shops. Wonderful ancient pubs dating from the 14th Century. Emerson College for weekend courses in anything from painting to story telling. From our house you walk straight into the woodlands of Ashdown Forest. Nearest bigger town is East Grinstead, many medieval houses, also cinema, good shops and train to London (50 minutes to Victoria/London Bridge)
Brighton and its seaside is a 40 minute drive away.

About Us

Hi I am a Dutch woman living in beautiful Sussex with my 2 daughters, Imogen and Ruby who are 16 and 14 years old. I work in St Paul's, a small Steiner Waldorf school in London with special needs children. We would love to exchange during school holidays. Ruby and I both play the violin and my eldest is studying art and design. Our house is filled with books and paintings, and has a lovely atmosphere. Lovely country kitchen with cast-iron Rayburn (and a normal gashob and oven as well!)

Destination

We are interested in a variety of things, exploring big cities like Rome, Paris, New York or in summer time to be near water.
