Description

This is a beautifully restored cottage in North Co Leitrim. Close to Donegal, Co Sligo and Co Fermanagh. It has all mod cons, central heating and an open fire, cooker, microwave, fridge, washing machine, dryer, and dishwasher fitted out to high specification. It has TV, Satellite, DVD, Radio. It has a lrge deck with a frame to put a cover on if raining or too sunny. You would need a car to access this cottage.

Neighborhood

It is set in a beautiful mountain location but with easy access to Donegal, Sligo Town and Enniskillen and many other major towns. You would need a car to access this cottage. The nearest shop and pub are approx 9kms from the house. It is posible to fly to Sligo or Donegal and hire a car to get here. Approx 1 Hours drive from Sligo Airport or 2 hours from Donegal airport. Or fly to Dublin and it takes 3 hours in a car. It is quite close to the beach and lakes ideal for fishing. It is also ideal for hillwalking. There is a very large lake close by called Lake Melvin which is ideal for fishing and boating.

About Us

This cottage is owned by a middle-aged couple with one dog a springer spaniel called Loui. Pat and Annmarie we have a 21 year old son but he doesn't live with us nor would he or the dogs be travelling. We enjoy the quiet life. Annmarie is studying Massage at present and hopes to start a practice soon. We are both involved with amateur drama. This is our beautiful retreat home where we go to chill. We love Skiing and would to swap for a winter holidayand we would also like to swap this cottage for 2 weeks anytime for 2 weeks in the summer in France, England, Italy or Spain.

Destination

We are flexable and are open to any date exchange. This can be non-simultaneous. Ideally we would like to swap for a winter skiing holiday or a summer holiday. Our summer holidays of 2008 are now covered please no more offers for the summer of 2008 but weekend and winter offers are welcome.
