Description

We are a retired couple who have built an award winning home which sits high on a rock. It has an open beam living area, radiant floor heat, 2 ensuite bedrooms, a water closet, wood burning fireplace, hardwood and tile floors throughout, a modern kitchen with dishwasher, washer & dryer, limited TV and internet. Neighborhood

We are located in a lovely rural neighbourhood on a peninsula just minutes from Sidney B.C, Victoria air port, ferries to the Gulf Islands, San Juan Islands in the U.S. and the B.C. mainland. Victoria, the Capitol of British Columbia is a short 15-20 minute drive. There are many golf courses within the region. It's a 10 minute walk to the ocean where there are lots of ocean side trails, there are many marinas and whale watching excursion available out of Sidney and the world famous Butchard Gardens are just minutes away Sail boat charters are also available. and on and on I could go.

About Us

We are retired and live a fairly active lifestyle and enjoy skiing, hiking, sailing. We are non-smokers but enjoy wine with meals and friends.We have a granddaughter graduating from the U of Dundee in June 2009 and plan to attend her graduation,also my husband was evacquated from Scotland during W/W 11 and would love to do some sightseeing in and around the Higlands and the Peebels area.......... This is why we need to be as close to Dundee as possible with our home exchange.

We do respect other people's property as we would expect you to respect ours.

Destination

We can have non-simultaneous or simultaneous but we must be in Scotland within the dates shown some where close to Dundee or the Highlands.
