Maison

Our apartment is on the second floor of a building facing directly on the Cathedral Square in the historical center of Prato, a town with a rich artistic heritage and many cultural traditions. We are only 5 minutes on foot from the train station with regular connections to all the other famous Tuscan cities (10 km da from Pistoia, 13 km from Florence, 50 km from Lucca, 79 km from Siena, 82 km from Pisa, 84 km from Arezzo). The apartment consists of a fully equipped kitchen, a living room, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. In the children bedroom, there are at the moment two single beds and a baby cot. The apartment is furnished with a TV, DVD, VHS, dishwasher and washing machine and we have plenty of toys, books and movie to entertain your children. From the windows of our apartment it is also often possible to watch spectacles, concerts and other events held in the Piazza.

Quartier

The apartment is located in the historical center of the city directly in front of the beatiful Cathedral with the Donatello's "Pulpito" and minutes away from other historical monuments such as the Medieval Castle, the Church Santa Maria delle Carceri and Town Palace.
All around there are plenty of shopping opportunities including bakeries, food markets, restaurants, cafes, clothing, shoes etc.
The theatre Metastasio with an excellent program is also minutes away.

À propos de nous

In our family there are two daughters (4 and 1 yrs old), me and my hussband. We are both architects: I work mainly in the restauration and renovation of old buildings while my husband operates in contemporary architecture. Beside Italian, I speak French and English.

Destination

We are open about destination for summer holiday. We would like to have a swap also in April for a long week-end or for a week.We are interested in spending some time to cities and areas of historical and artistic interest ( Stockholm, Copenaghen, Paris, Prague, other). For brief periods, we have the possibility to do non simultaneous exchanges.
