Description

Our home is a modest 3 bed home. It is ideal for families travelling with children, we have everythig you would need, but equally all toddler and child paraphanalia can be put away if you are travelling without little ones.
There is one double with a kingsize bed, a room with a single bed and nurery with cot that can be used or removed and a mobile bed can be added, as can in the lounge if needed.
The kitchen is a kitchen diner. It has everything that you would need, a cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, washer and dryer and all untensils.
The lounge is comfortable with 2 large couches, tv, sky, wii and games, dvd player and access to the computer.
There is off road parking to the front and a medium sized garden to the rear.

Neighborhood

We live in a lovely part of our town. It has a wonderful community feel, with the convenience store just down the road, where the owners are always happy to help.
It is a 5 minute drive into town or a enjoyable 20 minute walk.
We are close to some of the best English villages, including tetbury, home of the prince of wales and former home of Princess Diana. There are dozens of quaint villages perfect for cream teas and days spent wondering around the antique shops and sitting by the streams.
We live 10 minute drive from the train station, of which London is just over an hour away, close enough for day trips.
Just down the road from us is the famous Roman amphitheatre, step back into roman times, as you can also do at our wonderful park, complete with a roman arch and remains of a villa.
We have a very special museum devoted to the history of the Cotswold's, including detailing when it was the capital of the roman world.

About Us

We are a fairly young family, my husband, 29 years, runs his family tyre depot around the corner.
I am a stay at home mum by day and a nurses aid by night, i'm 27 years.
We have 2 wonderful children, a 6 year old boy and a 2 year old girl. They are experienced at staying in other peoples homes and have been taught to be very respectful.
We are very family orientated, and pretty much most of our time is spent with our children doing lots of activities such as walking through the wonderful surrounding areas, swimming and going to the cinema.
Our family all live near by and would be more than happy to show you around our town and surrounding areas, we are all very proud to live in such a beautiful historic place.

Destination

We are ideally looking for one or two weeks in New York, Christmas would be wonderful but we are open to offers, preferably in school holiday times.
If it is to be a non-simultaneous swap then it would have to be for 5 days as we would stay with family.
Also on offer is the chance to stay at my mother in laws home in Bude, Cornwall, a picturesque seaside town on the south coast, a favourite for generations. She would ideally like to come to new york with us.
