Descrizione

Our home is a three bedroom semi-detached house with main bathroom/shower on 1st floor and a toilet in the ground floor utility room (laundry) fully central heated and double glazed. We have recently built an extension with entrance lobby and including an attached single garage (with internal entry) and utility room. In addition, the house has been completely refurbished. The front and back garden are low maintenance. There is free internet access and free international phone call (for a max of one hour). My car a citroen C5 Diesel Auto Estate included in the exchange.

Quartiere

We are in the rural town of Braintree Essex in East Anglia,famed for it history in the Silk weaving industry. We are close to the local train station that can take you into Central London within 1 hour. Stansted Air-port is only a half hour away and the Roman historic town of Colchester is also only half hours drive away.The East Anglian coast is within 1 hours drive. Only 25 min from the M11 motorway that links to the entire major motorway within the UK.Very. Plenty of contry walks in the locality. It is only a 25 min walk into town also a bus service is very close approx 100mt from our front door. (Pub 3min walk)

Chi siamo

I am a retired Building Contractor who now enjoys Fishing, Shooting and swimming. I still mess about doing small jobs to help with the finances. I have been married to Sheila for 50 years we have two kids (My son now 44 and daughter 42) plus four grandchildren. Our daughter lives in the UK with her two children and our son has lived in Papamoa New Zealand for 14 years. We visit him during the UK winter. We have done so for the last 9 years up to now we have stayed with my son and also rented. This time we thought we would try a house swap. We will be traveling with my wife's sister and husband this year. So there will be a party of four (non-smokers) pensioners.

Destinazione

We are flexible with our dated as we intend to leave the U.K. end of January early Febaury 2010. We are considering travel in Oz following our stay in NZ for three to four week piror to returning to the UK. We intend to return to the U.K. approx 3 months following our departure date. BUT this is flexible. If you are interested in a swap, please reply as soon as possible. We will not book our flights until we can confirm a exchange.
