Description

We live in a 2 bedroom apt that gets lots of sunlight and has lovely views of the park. Recently renovated, it has new wooden floors, an eat-in galley kitchen, dining area, a bedroom, bathroom, and study with a sofa bed that can sleep two. There is also wireless internet access.

The apartment is located in Brooklyn directly across from the Botanic Gardens and Brooklyn Museum. The subway is half a block away and you can get to Manhattan in 15 minutes.

Neighborhood

We are located in the Park Slope/Prospect Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn, which is ethnically diverse and full of cultural activities. Our street is lined with classic pre-war buildings and inhabited by young families, professionals, and artists. Our building is half a block from the subway and easily accessible to anywhere in the city.

Park Slope/Prospect Heights is known for beautiful brownstone houses, tree-lined streets, excellent dining, and spectacular Prospect Park. You can walk everywhere and there are lots of stores and restaurants as well as a farmer's market on Saturdays.

About Us

Eske is a professor and Helen is a writer/arts administrator. We have been in New York for eight years and prior to that have lived and traveled in many countries in Europe and Asia.

Destination

Would like to be in Copenhagen this summer to visit family in late July/August 2007.

In the future we are open to exchanges in other countries -- summer 2008 or possibly late December/January this year.
