WE HAVE 30 PHOTOS FOR YOU TO SEE. Make sure you click on the first photo to see the rest.Our main home is located in White Rock BC which is 30 km from Vancouver and 5 minutes by car from the Washington State US Border. Our home is what I would call a Mediterranean theme to the outside and inside of our home.It is a very open plan with lots of tile, granite and marble inside and out. We have fantastic ocean views from our 3 spacious balconies and our huge windows. There is a small "lap" pool and very large hot tub on our main patio with wonderful views of the ocean. For the musicians we have a grand piano and electronic keyboard. Our home is quite luxurious. Our master bedroom has a king-size bed and huge flatscreen TV. There is also a flatscreen in the living room and one of the other bedrooms.We have a large office with a computer and internet access of course. We could also offer you a week in our Whistler penthouse. Whistler is only 3 hours away in the beautiful mountains. Whistler will share the 2010 Winter Olympic Games with Vancouver. It is very luxurious.

Neighborhood

White Rock is a wonderful place to visit as it is only 5 minutes to the Washington State border, 40 minutes to Vancouver, 2 hours to Seattle and 3 hours to our other gorgeous penthouse home in Whistler BC. Vancouver, Canada's third largest city and home of the 2010 Winter Olympics is only 30 minutes away. We are only a short 5 minute or less walk from the beach and all the restaurants along the water. There is also a 5 km walk along the ocean. It is a very peaceful pretty area. We live just above the pier and the strand for those wonderful walks at sunset. The view is of the Gulf Islands and Washington state. Everything is very close to our home, malls with great shopping, etc. but you are also so very close to the beach.

About Us

Harry is a retired businessman who is always busy doing something! He is an avid skier and loves to travel. Dawne is a retired teacher as well as a professional singer of opera and musicals, who has sung in over 100 productions with The Vancouver Opera. She is also an avid skier, marathoner and photographer. Both of us love travel, good food and good company.We have done 30 exchanges,14 in France. Our children are adults now and usually it is just the two of us traveling, but there could be a maximum of four people.

It may be possible to arrange a car exchange as well. We are non-smokers and want to exchange with non-smokers. There would be 2 to 4 adults traveling including my husband and I. We do have one cat that would require feeding. We also can arrange with a neighbour to take care of our cat when you are on overnight or longer trips away from our main home. We have done 30 wonderful exchanges and look forward to many more. Remember, we do have two homes we could offer you

Destination

Our dates are pretty flexible after the summer of 2008 as we have an exchange this year in Lyon France during the summer. We are interested in Palm Springs area, Scottsdale Arizona, Oahu or Maui, Manhattan NC, Las Vegas area, Palm Desert, Palm Springs area,Beach towns in Southern California, Aspen for a ski exchange with Whistler place, and in British Columbia, hot areas in the summer.
