Description

Our house is a quite little country house 4 minutes from the center of our little village Esvres. This village is very cute and you can find anything you like, bakery, shopping centre, little restaurants, walk by the river... Our house is from 1805 and was finished being redone 4 years ago. It's a small house but very cute and comfy. The garden is very big and absolutely beautiful (i'm proud of what my husband did with it), and you have all the entertainement necessary for small kids (little pool, little play house, sand, slide..). Our neighbours are very friendly. 20 min highway ride to the center of the city "Tours" which has to be seen. And you're in the center of the valley of the Loire Castles. Our parents will be there to make sure you feel at home and have everything you need.

Neighborhood

Neighborhood of trust and good relations. Young and less young people who meet from time to time to tell their stories. The river comes by 100 m lower and after a 2 min walk you can have a look at one of our beautiful mills in fonction. We have bicycles and very nice rides to do. 15 minute bike ride and you're on the small stone bridge that Jeanne d'Arc crossed one day. And we also have a little castle where Matahari stayed.

About Us

Greg, town planner, me, his secretary...ha ha, i know what you think...not easy. We've been working for several years in the same town hall and i was first in the civil registry department and now working with him to help him out. Now, we are moving to New Zealand with our 2 and a half year old daughter, Noémï, because i found a job in a civil registry department in Wellington. My husband will be looking for a job as soon as we find someone to take care of our little sweatheart. I was born in Belgium, lived 10 years in South Africa, 15 in France and was looking for the opportunity to live in an english speaking country to give our daughter a wonderful experience. Greg lived 2 years in Ivory Coast and 5 in Cameroon. I'm 28, Greg 37.

Destination

We are moving to Wellington and in order to offer good arriving conditions to our daughter after 35 hours of travelling, we would like to find someone who would agree to exchange to help us be ok while trying to find our own home.
