Description

We are interested to swap our cute 3 bedroom home, located just off commercial drive - the funkiest neighborhood in Vancouver, with restaurants, shopping, transportation and entertainment just two blocks away. The house will comfortably suit a family of 4, but can fit 7 if necessary. We are located a short drive from downtown and the beach (5 min.). The house is nicely equipped with everything you may need, it has wireless internet, cable TV, a nice back lawn and deck with bbq, many books and games, several bikes and more.

Neighborhood

Commercial drive is simply the best place to live in Vancouver. The street is by-far the liveliest in the city. It had a multitude of restaurants, cafes and bars, as well as some of the best shopping in the city (No big outlets but rather small boutiques and specialty stores). There are many delis and specialty food stores (the neighborhood is originally Italian and Portuguese). We live on a very quiet and family oriented street just two blocks away from the center of commercial drive. There are several small parks just two blocks away , and the large and beautiful Trout Lake park just 10 minute walk away.

About Us

We are a family of four (two young kids). We work in the film industry (Editor).

Destination

We are currently looking for a home exchange for Israel in September 2008, and are open to other destination after that.
