Neighborhood

Only 7km from Galway city which comes to life of the summer months and hosts the 2nd largest horse racing festival, International arts festival and various other events. Walking distance to Oranmore village with selection of shops, bars, restaurants and attrations. Centrally located to explore the west of Ireland and 3hrs commute to Dublin city.

Galway is renown for its Geographical features, including its Mountain Ranges with the Twelve Bens dominating the Connemara skyline. There are many islands off the coast with the Aran Islands being the main attraction. Galway has lots of freshwater lakes, with trout, salmon and coarse fish in abundance. County Galway has several blue flag beaches. The largest beaches are found in Connemara.
Galway is also home to the greatest array of castles in Ireland, some in ruin, but some magnificently restored.

About Us

Two accountants with two young kids, boy 3 and girl 5. Enjoy being close to all the attractions but far enough away for some privacy. Enjoy all types of pets especially dogs, wer have a cat, but not very friendly and would go to its usual 5 star hotel for any swap.

Destination

Ideally just looking for a relaxing break with the kids near a beach, a pool would be a good substitute to the beach. Not needing anything special, just some relaxing time where the kids have plenty of things to do. Open to any offers especially during the month of August 2008.
